Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh / कर्मचारी संचय कोष
Karmachari Sanachaya Kosh which is known as Employees Provident Fund (EPF) in English and कर्मचारी सञ्चय कोष in Nepali was established in 1944 as a Nijamati Provident Fund.
The EPF is managed by the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the Government of Nepal as a Provident Fund (PF) for employees of the government, public and private sectors.
It was the Employee Provident Fund that approved the retirement fund for the Government of Nepal (GoN), and its Provident Fund (PF) manages a fund that is intended to help its contributors upon retirement or separation from employment.
The Provident Fund also provides certain social benefits to our contributors in addition to managing the Provident Fund.
Moreover, private sector companies are also eligible to become members of the EPF, provided that such companies have at least ten (10) employees contributing regularly.
