What Occasions deserve Raises and Bonuses?

Incentives like raises and bonuses are commonly used to reward employees for their hard work, contributions, and achievements. In general, raises and bonuses are often justified based on the company’s policies and practices, but here are some common scenarios:

i. Annual Performance Evaluation:

A company’s annual performance evaluation is a way to assess its employees’ performance over a specific period of time. Employees who consistently perform well, demonstrate exceptional skills or achievements, and contribute significantly to the success of the company may receive a raise or bonus.

As part of these evaluations, factors such as meeting goals, exceeding targets, taking on additional responsibilities, proving leadership qualities, and working well with others are often considered.
