What is Free Consent?
When both of the parties entering into a contract agrees upon the same thing in the same sense then there exists free consent. These two parties must take and understand, purpose, subject matter and terms and conditions in the same sense. Consent is all about legally binded parties agreeing in the same thing in the same sense.
Free Consent is one of the essential element of valid contract. While entering into any contract there must involve the elements of free will and proper understanding of what each of the parties is doing. In simple words it means that the consent of each of the parties to a contract must be genuine. Those contract without free consent are considered to be void.
